Terms of Service

Last updated: June 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Portline ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description

Portline is a macOS application that provides named localhost URLs, public HTTPS links via tunneling, and HTTP traffic inspection for local development.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email — there is no password to manage. Your license is bound to the Mac you activate it on, and you are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Transmit malware, spam, or abusive content through public tunnels.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to others' systems or data.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

5. Paid Plans

Portline is offered on a monthly ($8/month) or yearly ($49/year) subscription, billed in advance through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the current billing period. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Portline and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Portline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
